This Privacy Policy applies to the Snab Chrome extension, the Snab website, and the video messaging features that link to this policy. Snab is operated by SupaDev Technologies Pvt. Ltd. In this policy, “Snab,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to SupaDev Technologies Pvt. Ltd.

By using the extension, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the extension. This policy does not apply to websites or services that you access through a recording; those services have their own privacy policies.

2. Information we handle

We handle information needed to provide the extension and services. Depending on how you use Snab, this can include:

• Account information: your name, email address, login details, and workspace or subscription information.
• Recording content: screen recordings, camera video, microphone audio, transcripts, titles, comments, reactions, and other information you choose to include.
• Sharing information: recipient names or email addresses and link-access settings when you share a recording.
• Technical information: browser type, extension version, device and operating-system information, timestamps, and error or diagnostic information.

Snab does not read or collect the contents of your screen, camera, or microphone until you choose to start a recording and grant the relevant permission. Do not record information about other people unless you have the right to do so.

3. Chrome permissions

The extension requests only the permissions needed for its recording and sharing features. Chrome may display these permissions differently depending on your browser version:

• Screen capture: allows you to select and record a browser tab, window, or screen after you start a recording.
• Camera and microphone: allow you to include your camera and voice when you enable those options.
• Tab or page access: allows the extension to provide recording controls and capture the tab or page you have selected.

You can remove the extension or change its site access in Chrome at any time. Removing access may prevent recording features from working.

4. How we use information

We use information to:

• provide, maintain, and improve recording, transcription, playback, and sharing features;
• authenticate accounts, manage workspaces and subscriptions, and respond to support requests;
• protect Snab, our users, and the public from fraud, abuse, and security threats; and
• understand errors and product performance using limited technical diagnostics.

We do not sell your recordings, transcripts, or personal information. We do not use recording content to serve you advertising.

5. Sharing and disclosure

When you create a share link or invite someone to a workspace, the people you choose can access the information made available through that link or workspace. Review the access settings before sharing and do not include confidential information in a public recording.

We may share information with service providers that help us host, secure, transcribe, analyze, and support the service. These providers may process information only to provide services to Snab and must protect it under their agreements with us. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

6. Storage, security, and retention

Recording content is stored only when you choose to save or share it through Snab. We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, and misuse. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal and operational requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You can delete recordings and request deletion of your account information as described below. Backups may persist for a limited period after deletion.

7. Your choices and rights

You can choose whether to record your screen, camera, or microphone; stop a recording at any time; control who receives a share link; and remove the extension from Chrome. You can also ask us to access, correct, export, or delete personal information associated with your account.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights, including the right to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

8. Children’s privacy

Snab is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our practices or legal obligations change. We will post the updated version here and change the “Last updated” date. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice where required.
